Here are the two candidates that ran for Kindergarten President! Mr. Pig promised the children candy for lunch and more homework. Mr. Duck promised the children more recess time and all vegetables for lunch. Mr. Duck won!!

Funny story: When I announced the winner of the election, I had one child immediately bust into tears. I asked what was wrong, and the child told me that they did not want Mr. Duck to win because they did not like vegetables and they were now going to have to bring their lunch box for the rest of the year. This child was very relieved when I let them know that the election was just pretend!:)
